About Ermin's
Ermin’s Bakery and Café is family owned and operated by Louisville natives Debby and Bob Haynes since Dec. 15, 1997. The Haynes’ bought Ermin’s Bakery & Café from two Bosnian cousins (both whom were named Ermin). Ermin Cicic founded Ermin’s Bakery in 1993 after he arrived in this country from war-torn Bosnia. He brought with him the experience of his father, and his grandfather, who also come from a long-line of bakers. Since then Ermin’s has grown to 5 locations; 3 in the downtown Louisville area, 1 in New Albany Indiana, and 1 in Prospect Kentucky. The Haynes family has continued to produce the traditional European style breads introduced originally by the Bosnian Ermin’s cousins.
